1. What is quartz and why should I choose it for my kitchen worktop? +
Quartz is an engineered stone, made from natural quartz crystals and resin, with outstanding durability, scratch and stain resistance, and very little maintenance and care, perfect for contemporary kitchen and bathroom surfaces.
2. Is quartz better than granite or marble? +
Quartz is a non-porous material. It doesn’t absorb spills and doesn’t retain any germs or bacteria. In comparison to granite or marble, its stain-resistant and does not require sealing, and it offers more consistency in color and pattern.
3. Can I see samples before purchasing? +
Yes, we have samples of all our quartz styles available. You can order samples online, or visit our showroom to see our full slabs in person.
4. Do you do supply only or do you do full installation? +
We do both! You can purchase slabs as supply only in any country, or take advantage of our professional templating/supply/installation service across the UK with our partnered fabricators.
5. How long does the installation take? +
In most cases the install takes place between 5-7 working days from when you signed the templates.
6. Do I have to seal quarz worktops? +
No. Unlike natural stones such as granite or marble, quarts surfaces do not need to be sealed as they are already non-porous and easy to clean.
7. How do I clean and maintain my quartz worktop? +
Simply wipe with a soft cloth and some mild soap or detergent. Avoid using harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners. It is very easy to maintain.
8. Can I put hot pans on quartz? +
We discourage the use of placing hot cookware directly onto quartz. Place a trivet or heat pad underneath to prevent thermal shock or potential damage.
9. Do you provide a warranty? +
Yes! We have up to 15-year warranty available on all our quartz products, covering material defects under normal use.
10. Where do you deliver and install? +
We supply customers throughout the UK including London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Leicester and surrounding areas.
